Pro Max Type FD Type FD is constructed of a vinyl coated polyester fabric scrim and is completely self-extinuishing (fire retardent). The fabric weighs about 15 ounces per square yard. Type FD has excellent compressibilty or retractability. For example, a 15 foot length of 12" diameter Type FD compresses into just 8". Type FD has a temperature range of -20F to 180F, intermittent to 225F. more applications requiring large movements of air, smoke or fumes. Type FD is stocked in either white or yellow in diameters 8", 12", 18" and 20" in either 15' or 25' lengths. Each length is stocked with a ring end on one end and a belted cuff on the other end. This configuration allows for the easy connecting of two lengths to make a longer length. Just simply slide the ring end into the belted cuff end and tighten the belt to make longer lengths. |
